Michele Tassick Obituary

Michele Lee Tassick, 70, of Stoneboro, was born in Pittsburgh on February 20, 1948 to Lillian Marie (Brady) & Michael Tassick who preceded her in death. She entered into the arms of God on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Beloved mother to Charlotte (Harrison) Giovannelli and Tony her son in law. And adoring grandmother to Ava Bryn Giovannelli. She leaves behind siblings Charles Geimer Jr. (Sandy), Theresa M. Geimer, Steven Geimer (Diane), Linda Geimer (Julian), and her youngest sister Emma Geimer Voelzke (Jim) along with many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her step-father Charles Geimer Sr. During her lifetime she worked in office environments and bridal retail and had a strong work ethic. She had a love of nature and for all of God's small creatures and also liked to volunteer and help others. She really enjoyed living in this area and being apart of the community. Above all, she was the proud and loving grandmother to Ava, age 9, and was adored by Ava in return. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home and interment will take place at Espyville Cemetery where there will be a small private service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for cards or tokens of encouragement be sent to her granddaughter, Ava Giovannelli, 181 Latonka Drive, Mercer, PA 16137.
