Our History

Our History

Black Funeral Homes have been serving the Lakeview Area and surrounding community for over 20 years. Our Stoneboro location was constructed in 1996 by former owners Scott and Lisa Black. In 2005 the former McMullen Funeral Home in Sandy Lake joined the Black Funeral Home Family. Scott and Lisa ran the funeral homes until the end of 2017. In 2018, Casey W. Rose and Adam J. Guthrie were chosen to continue Scott and Lisa's legacy. Casey and Adam strive to exceed expectations of the families they serve to honor those they have lost. We recently completed an extensive renovation of our Sandy Lake Location to provide the highest level of comfort, care, and quality in the area.
